Detroit: Become Human is a third-person adventure game with a defined and controllable perspective. There are several playable characters who can die when the story continues without them; as a result, there is no “game over” message after a character dies.
The DualShock controller’s right analog stick is used to interact with objects and observe the environment, the left is for movement, and R2 scans the environment for possible actions; motion control and the touchpad are also used. Through quick-time events and dialogue decisions, the story will branch out depending on the decisions made.
